All PFP products must be tested in accordance with BS 476: Pt. 20/22: 1987. They must also be installed in line with the manufacturer’s instructions. That is why all our operatives are qualified and competent within the industry to ensure all installation of products is compliant.
On an annual basis, we undergo rigorous audits that assess our capability, competence, and compliance in line with the relevant audit protocol which are designed to meet increasingly demanding legislative and risk management in the construction industry.
As a IFC-registered installer company, Alpha Fire And Air Solutions Limited is subject to ongoing random inspection of its installation work on ongoing contracts, along with an annual audit of its office systems by IFC inspectors to ensure that compliance with IFC scheme requirements are maintained.
As a IFC-certificated company, Alpha Fire And Air Solutions Limited is required to continue to demonstrate compliance with industry standards and material/product manufacturer installation instructions in order to assure clients that the fire protection installed by them is correct to specification and will afford the required fire protection.
As a requirement of the IFC schemes, Alpha Fire And Air Solutions Limited employs, on a permanent or contract basis, competent supervisors and technicians (operators) whose technical and practical competence is assessed by IFC inspectors in the trade disciplines for which certification scope is held. A register of competent employees is maintained for Alpha Fire and Air Solutions Limited, which is regularly reviewed to ensure that the company maintains a competent workforce whose abilities remain current with the work scope the company provides.
